Interior tweaked yet again

So I got the carbon leather dash a while ago on a good deal and matched it up with a piano black center console on a good deal also from the same place but I've never quite been happy with it. Too busy, too many many different textures.

So I tied things together with carbon leather gaiters and door cards and it worked well, but that piano black still didn't sit right with me. So I asked them to make me a carbon leather cover for my center console, and what do you do when the place that makes it tells you the material is too hard to work with and it won't work? You tell them to do it anyway and prove them wrong !!

So here's the result:

I think my interior is complete !! :D

Looks decent, but you can see what they mean when they say the material is too hard. The edges don't look quite as sharp as they could be.

Still ties in nicely with the rest of the interior

MFSW would finish it off nicely. The silver finish doesn't really go with the rest, although works with the gearstick and handbrake.

There is always the issue with making the interior dull and dark. I had all black in my coupe and although the materials were lovely it was very dark and dull. I think I prefer the piano black as it adds some contrast.

I can see your point of view on it. The piano black was nice, bit of a fingerprint magnet though. I think it looks much better in person as it does look rather lifeless in the photos.

Looks brilliant mate

But should have gone titanium with your stormz though!

Cheers, tug
