Interior Trim

Looking for some advice before starting my first project.
I'm thinking of replacing the brushed aluminium fascia and surround to Piano Black. (external colour Black with Red Imola Leather interior) My questions are:

Is this is good combination?
How easy (I have two left hands when it comes to DIY) is it to remove the current trim and replace with new trim?
If answer above is; Difficult, then can anyone suggest a good place in Wiltshire/Hampshire to look at for the work?

Many thanks

I have done half of mine, still haven't bought the centre console yet,as it is too expensive and can't be bother paying nearly £350 for it.

are you going to get yours painted or are you thinking of actually buying the parts from the dealer?have to say,if you are thinking of getting it from dealer, the main bit is about £370 (roughly),little part by headlight switch is about £127 and as said earlier, the centre console about £350.

I have changed my main dash bit, wasn't that hard when you know what you are doing, quite sure you can also do it;headlight switch cover is easy, but the main centre console as far as I have read,is a pig but do-able.

don't know how much this helps you but it is a start.

good luck.

Thanks, my thought was to source the parts rather than paint them. Have no intention of buying these from the dealer though, thought I would try the usual sources through Google.
Good to know the comparative price though.

I might consider selling my piano black dash trim and headlight switch cover (needs re-painting),let me know if you were interested.

to be honest,it is not that widely available I have been searching for a very long time.

as mentioned earlier,I don't have the full set but can send you photos of the parts I have,if you want.
