Interior trim options

Hi peeps, i have the brushed aluminium trim which looks good but what else have people done to give a bit of individuality? pics and a brief description would be much appreciated.

My current Z4 came with the Cirrus Aluminium - I definitely prefer it to the brushed aluminium I had in my first one! (And much prefer it to wood - sorry firebobby). :lol:

Yes, I just got lucky! There don't seem to have been too many with that option.

I also have the brushed aluminium trim. I wrap mine in vinyl and change it up every 6 months for a bit of a change. I've had carbon vinyl on for a while, but the whole thing getting gloss black, piano-style next month

Two more great choices - my 325ti is a Sport model so has the carbon effect, and my old 123d had piano black. It looks like I've been very lucky! :lol:

i had piano black in my 86, loved it but was always cleaning off the finger marks.

Did mine in vinyl wrap total cost £4 but took an age to take the centre console off.

I did the same, but also sprayed all the grey trim black...

Picture looks fine for me. Like the black surround, would be a bit harder with the standard stereo!

Not too bad actually. Stereo out and theres about 12 tiny screws holding the face on.

That's really nice and it is rare, but it's one of the "Individual" leather options, not extended leather, which would also cover the transmission tunnel, door cards, a pillars, sun visors and rear centre console. On the roadster the roll hoops and headlining are also leather.

I've currently got the 3M carbon fibre wrap (black) in mine, had it over 2 years and its holding up well.
I've just bought a spare set of trims and I'm going to try colour coding them to the Titanium Silver my car is. I've seen colour coding done before on an old members car in Sterling Grey and it looked nice, might be worth a go depending on what colour your car is.

Mine was the brushed, but have wrapped it with the carbon black 3M stuff. Looks good and is holding up well. Hopefully will never have to remove the centre console again!
