Lynchy, it’s not a problem to use heated seats in a non-heated car, you simply can’t activate the heating, but all the other electrics work. No one will know :?Lynchy said:I’m beginning to think that way but I need electric non heated seats. I am open to other colours as well now![]()

Not hydro, I’ll be taking it out and spraying it but not sure what colour yet. What interior and dash etc do you have ?Thunderous One said:Hi, thankyou for your response.Lynchy said:My dash trim etc is aluminium but I intend on taking it out and painting itThunderous One said:Hi, I have Oregon red, in my coupe.

I may have been interested in a swap had you a non aluminium dash/console trim, as I’m indifferent to the colour of my sears/cards, only the condition.
Will you by hydro dipping your aluminium trim?![]()
I have painted my interior trim on a previous Z4 and it worked out great. Peugeot Shark Grey with Dream red seats. I am also a SMART Repairer so I know what I’m doing  but thanks for the adviceZedebee said:A word of caution here. Make sure whatever colour you choose goes with all the other trim pieces or be prepared to paint them all. I sprayed the three Ali trim pieces in my coupe bronze, which came up really nice, but in the car it did not go at all well with the silver door pulls, handles, steering wheel trims etc so I reverted back to standard. Probably less of an issue if you are choosing a non-metal colour or black. Clearly it’s an advantage to have a spare set to practise on .
Good luck, I look forward to seeing the results.
Just looked at your question. Sorry for the delay in answering. The two parts of the dashboard and the central console were dipped and the total cost was £140.00. I will take some photographs when they are fitted. It seems to be pretty robust and the guy who did them for me has dipped all sorts including a Ferrari engine cover.Lynchy said:Looks good, how much did it cost ?
That seems a pretty good priceIRD said:Just looked at your question. Sorry for the delay in answering.
