Interior Seat Wear - Seatbelt scuffing shoulder

I have z 23i Z4, white interior, looks great, but the seatbelt coming over the shoulder has scuffed the top of the seat where it contacts so it now looks like it to a black mush.

Anyone else have this or solved the issue?

Im thinking of getting it repaired by chipsaway as they seem to do it but would need a solution to precent it first?

Thanks,

Simon

I had white design interior, just get some foam suede cleaner and it will clean it. Don't rub too hard though and don't use magic cleaners as they will eat away at the fabric

Thanks for the reply Stark, unfortunately its not just dirty its really wearing through the seat. Will be looking at a proper repairer but continues to happen.

I bought a pair of these seat belt pads which are wool backed and found them ideal to protect the seat from rubbing

I also use seat belt pads which helps. Have you tried Liquid Leathers Scuff Master http://www.liquidleather.com/scuffs.htm I use it to address any scuffs on my seats

that's contradictory to this post in the How-To section. is that why you tried it Stark? was going to give it a go, but am in two minds now.

BMW actually do a suede cleaner that might be worth a try.

The question is are we talking about the leather or the alcantara on the seats? Different products required for each!
