interior panel missing after service/work

so i go to pickup my car at the shop after i recieve a call that my car is finally ready to be picked up. (7 weeks later) and i jump in after paying my bill (3.5K US) and as i am driving home, (about a 35 minute drive) i notice the interior B pillar cover is gone..WTF i think... then i get home and possibly its fallen down and is behind the pax seat, but no such cigar.. so i get on the phone to the shop, and they are closed till monday..

and the weirdest thing is...

i didnt get any work done to the car on the inside.. WTF????. ( i did notice there were 2 other coupes at the shop when i picked mine up in various states of work on the floor there..)

so peeved a lot!!!

what would you do? i left a message at the shop for them to call me back asap when the shop is open again...

not really happy about this...

I'd be at their door when they open on Monday morning, and ask them to sort it then and there. Very strange indeed...
 
i just had a look and there is a number stamped in the metal behind where the cover should be, could it be that they removed said panel to check/look/find out the number?

Sorry - no idea where i got USA from.. maybe it was the flag.

Well - i guess be there waiting when they open!

Past that dealer last week in a taxi, looks rather nice from the outside :)
