Interior light swap?

My new acquisition has the basic interior lighting set up.
I've already found the looms and added footwell LED lights.
The main light by the mirror is just the basic one, no map-reading lamps, just one big light.
I know the unit is self contained with its own circuits included. Does anyone know whether it is a straight swap over to fit the unit with the reading lamps?

Precisely.
Couldn't see why it wouldn't work as it must just be a basic couple of wires going into it.
Plenty cheap on Ebay so I may give it a shot.

Waited until wifey was out and borrowed the interior light assembly from hers, complete with the extra map reading lights.
I can confirm that it is a simply 'plug and play' swap over for the basic set up that just has the single courtesy light in the middle.
Plenty of the fancier ones on ebay if you wanted to upgrade.
