Does anyone know if this is a straight forward job, it looks pretty easy, mine have warn and once I find some at a reasonable price I'd like to change them

They kinda slide down and pull off  They aren't cheap! I think I've seen some for sale on here recently!

Edit:
http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=57207 £35 for the pair

They are easy to remove but be careful not to break off any of the plastic prongs on the back.

Looks simple enough & your welcome

Thanks for you help, just out of interest I rang a BMW dealership to find out the price on these (pair) and they came in cheaper than anyone else on places like eBay, which I thought was quite interesting...

try http://www.bmminiparts.com ;)

I got mine from BMW Soper Lincoln I think they were about £35 with forum discout including delivery.

Pretty straightforard to fit connecting cable back into the handle can be a bit of a pain but nothing to bad.
