Can anyone point me in the direction for a how too with regards removing the Interior Décor plastic from inside the car.. Looking a bit tatty and scratched in a couple of places.

Post a couple of pictures, there will be different guides for different trim parts. Alternatively, you may be able to recolour like you can with the leather parts.

I think I will end up taking them all off and spray piano black.

All the vids seem to be about removing the whole thing. Its just the Silver bits I would like to remove without taking it all to bits if possible.

Alas it's not that easy.

You have to remove the complete air-con panel from the side of the steering wheel cowl to the door.
Right side panel, take off the plastic trim at the side between the dash and door, remove one screw inside and then clip off the light switch panel.

To actually remove the silver trims you have to drill out the plastic weld studs, being very careful not to go all the way through. The reverse of this is that you'll have to glue them back together once you've finished what you are doing. I used apoxy glue to acheive a really good bond.

As for the silver door caps, jump to 08:05 on this video and I show how to remove the door cards. Then it's a couple of screws to remove to release the silver trims.

To be fair I originally had all silver, then I bought some half leather (one was a brushed alloy which had seen better days and the other was a silver carbon) and wrapped the silver parts in a gloss black. Now this lasted about a year and I wasn't happy with it so I removed the gloss black and fitted a brushed grey, which lasted about six months. Then I removed the "new" silver parts and fitted my original solid silver sections into the half leather parts, also removing the wrap from the door cars sections and the centre console, and that's how it's now staying A nice standard factory colour combo
It's a lot of work, depending what you want to acheive.

To actually remove the silver trims you have to drill out the plastic weld studs, being very careful not to go all the way through. The reverse of this is that you'll have to glue them back together once you've finished what you are doing. I used apoxy glue to acheive a really good bond.

If you are ever doing this again you can melt the tabs holding the parts together with a soldering iron and reshape them enough to seperate them. Then when putting them back together you can use the soldering iron again to remelt the tabs to hold the two parts together.

That’s my hat…actually I carry several as when I leave the ground on bumps and come out of my seat I lose the current hat…usually there’s a board behind me that runs over it / renders it useless as they run over it

I just did the center console to start in my car,that's where all my scratches were. I may do the rest eventually... I had mine hydrodipped and I replaced any worn buttons while it was out (picked them up on AliExpress)...
