I don't like the cheaper products that contain solvents as I fear they will dry and crack the dash in time, and I also find it makes it too shiny.

Can't use microfibre cloth on the e85 dash, its textured & the cloth grips it like hell

I used damp microfibres on my old e86 no problem. As you say the texture isn't the easiest thing to clean
