Interior Colour Change Options?

Hey all,

I currently own a Alpine White 35is with a black and aluminium interior. I absoloutely love the car but their is one thing i wish i could change.

The interior is a bit plain for my liking, I am an absoloute sucker for red.

Im aware i would have to have my seats rewrapped / leathered but this would restore them to prisitine condition. Has anyone undertaken a project like this or seen it done. Are the dash peices available to buy and the door cards etc...

What sort of prices should I expect etc...

Google Carlex design sunny, they did a black interior on a white E89 called 'carbonic Z4'. I'm not suggesting you do anything as mad but it's worth a look to get some clues if you want to do something a bit out of the ordinary perhaps. Costs nowt to gander. :thumbsup:
 
just love the black/ red interiors but chose all black as my E89 is my daily driver and the red doesn't like blue jeens. the standard BMW red i find not quite red enough, bit too terracotta for me.
would love to see one done as i did an all black to black/red on the porsche 987/2 spyder i had (alcantara that is)
 
Nonsense, I had an e85 in red leather and it never marked,
And I pretty much live in selvedge unwashed denim, which is notorious for rubbing off
 
my decision was made when i went to see an E89 demonstrator at the southport main dealer that had been a demo car used by one of the sales team, it was blue with the red interior. it had a nice blue efect on the red leather from the sales mans jeans

Looked at this, some nice elements but this company is Poland based. Havent seen anything like this done in the UK.

Seems to me the easiest route would be to buy the OEM red leather center console covers, red leather seats or covers if available seperate and the red dash parts.

Does anyone know where these could be obtained? Could not see any on ebay

I've seen his work in a few cars and it's incredible. Not just seats but dash boards, pillars and roof linings.

He's also got a Z4 so might do you a deal :thumbsup:
