Here is a link to a car finish forum. The first post is by a fellow that is in the carnuba wax business. Quite the eye opener.

So the fact my applications of Collinite #476 seem to last at least 6 months means I really should remove the car from the garage and drive it more often...

We humans are conditioned to absolutely believe that more expensive always means better. That may hold true but only to a point. The differences in quality don't necessarily match up with the differences in price. It's seem to be a nonlinear scale. Come on. Really! Is the $35,000 pot of wax THAT much better than the low rent priced Zymol vintage? I would think that the quality of the paint job and polishing one does would have a far more profound effect on shine than a protective layer of wax.

I could really stir the pot and talk about whether I think my $2,000 TAG professional 6000 watch is really that much better than my $150 pulsar titainium solar, Or my $94 Lumi Nox navy seals watch. It's not by the way. :fuelfire:
