Ok first of all note to self quit leaving car keys in the parking brake tray!

So I got a quick errand to run and decide to take the pup, I go out to the car put him in and go to open the garage door. As I'm walking to the door switch it just hits me (hope he don't step on the lock button in the console)... Sure enough, I open the garage door and go back to the car and it's locked.

Second note to self need to get a second key to put in my billfold.

So there I was, locked out of my car with the mutt inside. Tried to get a coat hanger through the window seal to push the lock button but that didn't work so for the next 15 minutes walking from side to side of the coaxing him to walk back and forth across the console until he stepped on the button again unlocking the car.

Ha ha. Had something similar but with a small child. He was 3 at the time. I put keys in tray, then him in the car and strapped him in, shut the door, walked round to my side and discovered he was no locked in.
Cue 15 minutes of kneeling in front of his window, coaxing him into the correct procedure for unlocking the car, with an ever increasing amused audience of fellow supermarket shoppers.

LOL I remember locking my mom out of the house once when I was a toddler and her having to coax me into unlocking the storm door,,,, lol never forgot it cause she didn't let me forget LOL.

At least it happened here at the house so I didn't have the amused onlookers LOL
