Interesting video on the history of the BMW roadster. Almost completely ignores the E85, which is a little strange given the sales volumes & the obvious fan-base. However, the rest is interesting and there's some lovely German steelwork on show

Having owned a Z3 and currently have an E85, I too was a little disappointed these were not given much air time.
Nevertheless it was an interesting article and need to watch it again. Thought I heard the commentator say there was only 1 or 2 RHD Z1's made, maybe wrong but late last year our local BMW specialist had one in the workshop so had a good look around it. Thought it was RHD but not sure now.
