intakes options??

hey guys i'm a newbie that own z4 3.0si

passed couple weeks i've installed stebro muffler and team dynamics wheel(20lb each)
i was going to go for springs but not sure if eibach prokit ( i know it's meant to go with oe shocks) but was not so sure about it.
i'm currently looking for some intake options for my Z
and couldn't find much about it.
so anyone can give me some good answers on
which brands/cost should i go for,
which type of intakes performs better such as cold air, short something etc. ( I live in CA and saw snow once in my life, of course excluding snowboardingdays)
also if i get a intake installed in my car with my stebro muffler.
will i see noticeable gain? if i race with OEM z4 will i able to pull better with intake ,muffler , and 20lb each wheels?

PS - give me some feedback on k&n airfilters too, i went online and saw different shaped airfilters. was wondering is it just one? or multiple that i have to change in my car?

Standard airbox will be ample for your needs imho.

Everything advertised for it will be snake oil in one way or another.

A better quality paper panel filter is worth while, but not sure on who are the best brand, but there are manufacturers out there who make really nice ones!

K&N and foam stuff are just expensive and ineffective for road cars and their engines.
