No - 2nd hand from here. I wouldn't pay full price - too many other things needed at that price. Plus having seen one now, and the quite poor fit, I don't think it's worth £800+.
On the M the noise comes between 3 and 4k, best thing is that if you want peace and quiet you could just accerate slowly and its OEM whereas with an exhaust you can never really do that.

It's difficult to describe but the carbon fibre cone would sit flush against the bulkhead around the air duct but it can't because it's angled downwards due to the position of the inlet hose and duct. This creates a gap at the sides and bottom of the cone. If the inlet duct and hose were 3in lower the whole thing would mount near horizontal and the cone would sit flush against the bulkhead.
I've checked and it's the correct kit for the car and all the bits and pieces are there but you're left with a 4in gap at the bottom.
If I'd paid £800+ I would feel a little disappointed.
How has adding one affected your insurance? or have you not put it down? Curious just because the insurance companies were pretty jubious with the light mods on mine... like some lowering springs and tinted windows were a faff they just started getting edgy with me.
