Intake boot

Hey all

Slightly confused...order the above part from US as no stock in UK and the part that fits onto the air filter is slightly a different size...also looks different. The part that also fits to the side of the engine looks slightly smaller. Part number is the same: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/lower-intake-boot/13547514867

Any ideas why it would be different?

Will that piece not just pull out? Looks like a double sided joining piece:

It is exactly that. Seems the OPs spacer must still be on the other bit of pipe

Is this yet another part that's seemingly made from unobtanium? Even LLL Car Parts have no stock. I bought a new one a couple of years ago and there was loads of choice on Ebay.
