Saw a nice silver m coupe at the Dunsfold supercar day on sat and spoke to a chap with a dark red m roadster who was seriously thinking of selling his so gave him my e mail , he's probably on here ! Asked him what his ins was like too but he was only 26 so very young !

22 yrs old, 3 yrs ncb, insured on the street £1200
not bad considering i know a few ppl almost twice my age who are paying around 800 for their ///m's

its actually cheaper if u park your car on the street....not sure if everyone knows that??

Exactly its awesome

circa £1500. 29, 8 years no claims (never claimed or been involved in an accident - touch wood!), history of pretty decent cars (335d, JCW), garaged, 12k, group C postcode. Why the hell am I double everyone else?!

ETA - just done a 'gocompare', 1300 with axa, admiral want 2200 and esure broker want £6k :)

Just tried moneysupermarket.com ins quotes and ...... that makes more sense !!! Just need to read the small print ! Wonder why quotes are lower there than when you ring a company ?

3 things - 1 online quotes are often discounted because it doesn't require a human to be paid to sit in a seat talking to you.
2 - check the perameters that you have put in VERY carefully as these aggregator sites are notorious for randomly putting a zillion £ excess when you requested £150 and changing to 3PFT
3 - join quidco after you use the aggregator to find the cheapest quote and access the new providers quote via quidco and get about £30 odd quid cash back.
