Just bought a second hand Golf as second car for gf and in prep for baby. Confused/GoCompare/Etc all quoted me between £600-700 as I couldnt use my ncb on a second care. Called my Zed insurer Esure and they gave me a complimentary 3 years ncb which means I got fully comp on it for £450

Still expensive for a car worth about £2k but a savings a saving. Pick up the motor on Sunday (2001, 1.6 petrol auto, 27k miles)

I have an Admiral multicar policy for my 320d and my ///M, and they happily put all of my no claims on the policies for both cars

May have to investigate swithing the ///M to Admiral when it next comes up and look at that route next year.

I've just put three cars on Admiral multicar the Z4 2.5, 2.0 TDCi Ford and a Peugeot 107, £450 for the three, but they took each NCB individually.

How's this for a result also - called insurance company today to let them know I'd put a private plate on my ///M. They initially said it would cost £37.50 - I challenged and they asked me some more questions. Turns out not all the details I put on Confused.com got pulled through correctly. Cut a long story short, an £85 refund is winging its way back to me! Ker-ching!
:) :D :)
