Insurance Renewal

Just received my renewal invite from Adrian Flux this evening and was expecting the premium to have shot up since last year, tentatively opened the e-mail and was a little gobsmacked its dropped from £460 to £381 :) I was really expecting it to have gone over the 500 mark :? Happy zedder now :driving:

Thanks, yes insured for a mileage limit of 7000 per annum which probably helps, same on the Z3 which I think was around £280 again with Adrian Flux. I've tended to stick with them as they're happy with any modifications and won't put the premium up :)

They offered me the same deal! I was going to move my business to them but my current insurer did a price match.

Ours are with AXA and both policies about £10 cheaper this year. Didn't even bother looking around (dangerous I know) as they were about £300 cheaper than anyone else last year, which can just be an introductory offer, but as the price went down, then I was happy. Mines about £250 and Deb about £220 on the 1'er both limited to 10k miles.

 At last some good insurance premium news. Bite their hand off and get out this weekend for some warm and sunny weather Tim. Maybe take the 4 out Saturday and the 3 out Sunday in celebration.

Thanks guys, I did think of shopping around as I know I could get it a little cheaper but you don't know what the damage will be the following year so was pleasantly surprised :)

I guess everyone's premiums depends on postcode whether its garaged etc :?

It's amazing how little the value of the car actually makes, it's all about you and your postcode - I went from insuring a £5000 secondhand car to a £40,000 brand new car - the premium went up by only £10 (about 2.5%).

I am pleased at the quotes I'm getting on the Z - only 3 years NCD and 2 claims in the last five years (one fault, one non-fault) and my premium is under £400. But I guess it's only the 20i, I'm sure it would sky rocket on the higher powered models.

Mine due next month 54years old only one years ncb ( due to fleet policy )1 sp30 and a good postcode WA still they won't £817 which is with aviva 10000 miles per year

Not so sure if it will go up with the bigger engine models currantly insure my 23i with Churchill for £235 and when I did the quote for my on order 35i the premium went down £10 all good. :D

you guys must be mega old to get such low premiums

i am 36 and have a full no claims discount and my premium comes to £600 on a 6k miles policy

i thought it wasnt too bad at the time considering the car was brand new but am re-thinking it now.... will shop around some more in september when my renewal is due :)

Recently got my renewal from Privilige and was reasonably happy.

27 years old, clean licence, 7 years ncb but 1 non-fault claim 4 years ago on a 12,000 miles/year policy with every extra except breakdown and 0 voluntary (but £200 compulsary) excess. Annual premium came to £420.

Look at the premium - but keep a sharp eye on the small print on the policy!
Sometimes cheapest is not the best value.
