Insurance renewal

OP's Quote seems a bit high!

Im 24, with 6 points and 3 years NCB and its the equivalent of about 950 a year with 10,000 miles. (With admiral)

Considering you are older with less points, I'd expect it to be alot lower!

The fact that the OP has an ///M version may be part of the reason :P

I'm so fed up on putting in my details. Admiral, Elephant and Bell are by far the cheapest!! £666 without my misses, £720 with...Considering she's using the car this wk, it's worth the extra 60quid!! Just a bit pissed that it's gone up!

I just had insurance come up for renewal. I was a little dissappointed with the quote my current insurer (Churchill) gave me. I checked around a few places, phoned up churchill and got them to put their cost down and upgrade my cover (hire car plus). I also got them to agree at the same time that I could change to run flats without any additional charge or proof from BMW that they are ok. I ended up paying only a small amount more than my quote with Admiral but upon searching through their policies I see that Churchill will replace my whole roof (on a convertible) if it is cheaper than replacing just the rear window which Admiral say they will not do.
