Good being the upper end of the age group sometimes! Got mine with the same for £245 (without legal)!

Not bad, with who?

I got a quote from morethan for the 23i M Sport, which will be £100 cheaper with lower excess.

Got a quote from them now and with the same excess as mine and it came out at £400, I also got a quote for a 35i and that came out at over £320, (and I'm in a very good area)

So I'm happy with my quote :D :driving:

You must be in a high risk group then! :P

I have used Confused.com for the last 3 years to find insurance and Swift always comes out the cheapest for me.

Age! :P

Insurance is a funny thing! Price goes down with age to a point then starts to go back up again! And that age point can be different for each insurance company and to what car you have bought!

Insurance Co's are now not allowed to discriminate against the older driver, I've had PM's from posters you're age and they all pay more than you for the same car, you must get a very special deal

Age and insurance have nothing to do with discrimination, it's to do with accident/claim stats!

Just did a re-quote on Confused and it came out at £243 but I noticed it hadn't clicked protected no claims. With protection £266. Both with Swift.

Still cheaper. :P

To be honest I usually strip my comprehensive insurance down to the minimum as the rest is a waste of money.

Can't understand how you were quoted £320 from Swift though for a 35i? :?
