Insurance companies+tracker system

Can anyone tell me which insurance companies don't ask for a tracker system fitted on the Z4Ms?
Cheers :driving:

swiftcover, royal and sun alliance, admiral, elephant - unless that is tracker requirement is postcode specific!!??

I have it fitted but have not told them, if it gets nicked the best policy is to keep quiet about it as you are required to do everything in your power to help the recovery.

Activation after being stolen costs a shed load and probably still unlikely to be recivered in my opinion.

Vvroom - can you explain a little more. Mine was fitted. Has a subscription for life and costs nothing to activate or track. Is this a different option you have?

I'd def want my car recovering if it could be picked up in a container or around the corner in a lock up. Not if it had been wrecked of course.

Mine is an annual subscription which against any saving is just not worth it. If found round corner fair enough but if ragged or involved in a police chase, they can keep it if they get away with it.

Then I can see your rationale given quotes seem to be around just £50 extra without it on many cars.

Also agree if trashed I would not want a car back.

thanks for your help
looked into it for direct line insurance would cost £300+ to fit and £140 a year to use it,
looked on admiral today £100 a year more than direct line but no tracker :| its a no brainer
shock to see BMW insurance ask for a tracker! but dont fit as standard.....

"GO COMPARE"

I'm with Direct Line for everthing, House, Truck, Life, my wifes car blah blah blah

When I sold my KTM Superduke and bought my Z

They said they could'nt cover me :o

WTF! Full no claims, never missed a payment on anything

Because it was a new car I would have to start again with no "no claims"

But for some reason I was uninsureable :?

I'm 52 not 18

They were told in no uncetain terms what's going to happen when every thing else is due for renewal :headbang:

So "Go Compare" it was

Armed with proof I've been driving the company car for 10yrs

Hastings Direct came up trumphs, No tracker and cheap to boot
