All hope you can help...

Got in my car today and started to drive and noticed that the ABS,Traction control, brake & tyre pressure indicator lights are ALL ON. Worrying i stop checked the tyre, brake fluid etc and nothing. I then pulled away at speed to see if i had any traction control... i did.

So now i am left with all these lights on but there doesnt seem to be any problems?

Any help?? could it be a relay for the instrument cluster or ideas appreciated. :headbang:

Its a 53reg 3.0l se model

This is usually indicative of a battery failure. Or at least a battery on it's way out. I'd get that checked first.

What he said, I had exactly the same thing happen to me. Battery topped up and I haven't seen it again ;)

Same for me - new battery problem solved

Only had it once when I was revving a bit too high trying to get out a snow drift (I know, I know.....). All disappeared about an hour later, but that was a definite brown trouser moment!

Right, thanks for all the responses appreciated it.

Bit more info... i only bought a new battery 3month and its a bosch one..not a cheap one.

Wheel speed sensor is a new one...

But what i cant understand is why everything still works but dash lights on.

Any more possibilities?

In that case it's most likely the steering angle sensor. You can reset it by doing a series of lock to lock turns I believe. Sometimes this is triggered by over zealous use of a jetwash on the wheels, or if you've had the wheels off or jigged around with the suspension components too.

Tried this but no avail...

Makes sense that it could be the speed sensor on the wheel... IF my understanding is correct....

I get the ABS light, brake (yellow) light first and traction control... This is because the abs needs to move before it resets. But when i move the car, the brake light goes to red and the tyre pressure light comes on. Didnt realise that the tyre pressure is calculated on wheel speed.

Therefore, conclusion is that it must be the wheel sensor.... but WHICH ONE.

Is there an easy way to tell? If not, anyone in the North east, preferbly in Middlesbrough area that has the diagnostics software to put it one, helping a friend in need

I'd get it plugged in and the fault code read, hopefully that should tell you which one. Otherwise you're just going to be guessing.
