Is there any way to remove the actual dials from the cluster? Im thinking about having the cluster painted/dyed black similar to the Alpina cluster. Has anyone done anything like this yet?

once u take the cluster out...remove the screws n take apart the cluster as you see it.

not hard. a monkey can do this
