Vince, Although it's been two years since you posted your question, I'm hoping your solution will be my solution. Yesterday, I tried to start my '05 Z4 which has been stored since October, but the battery wouldn't crank the motor. Instrument panel lit up, but not enough juice to crank. Put a charger on the battery for several hours and then the motor fired right up ... but now the instrument cluster is dead; no lights, no guages, nothing. Running lights, radio, heater blower all work. I looked at the fuse box, but without a map, I was reluctant to start pulling fuses looking for a bad one. What was the solution to your problem?
