Installing the Dension Gateway Pro BT on Z4 e86

Hi guys,
So I've installed the Dension Gateway Pro BT on my Z4, I had to update it to its last firmware and now I'm able to pair my phone and play music without with a sound that is very good imo
But I haven't chosen a spot on where to place it on the car, I'm thinking below the glove box, if I can find the place, what do you think ?
Also for the microphone, I would like to use the one built in with the car, placed on the steering wheel colum cover.
I'm not sure on how to take apart this cover, is there a guide ?
As for the wiring for the microphone, it should be straightforward

So what I've done

took down the glove box assembly (6 screws)


used double sided tape to place the Dension Gateway on a steel part that is placed between the radio and the glove box
Made sure to connect it with the cable that came with it and also the microphone, it's very difficult to connect thoses cables once it is on that spot

Still haven't figured out how I can take off the top steering column cover, I've wired the microphone from the Dension kit below the steering wheel for the moment
