Installing Navcoder

Over a year ago I bought a USB Resler Interface to use with Navcoder.

Various things can be changed, like enabling Voice activation, DRL's, enable TV in motion (If you have TV) any many other things.

Problem is it is only supplied with tails. Not an issue if you don't have a CD changer or Intravee, but I wanted to connect mine and leave it connected. I wasn't sure if this was possible but thought I would give it a go. What worse the worst I could do.

So I bought some crimp terminals and plugs (not shown) that would enable me to connect between the Intravee and the car interface via plug and play. I spliced into the Resler interface loom and attached some spare tails I already had giving me a three way loom as shown below.

One end with plug to Resler interface, one to the Intravee and the other to the car (CD changer plug)

Fed this up though the Centre Cubby hole light where my Intravee leads already are housed.

Also took the opportunity to swap over my Alpine KCA-420i with my single wire mod one. Need to leave a few days now to see if it wakes my iPod up.

Just waiting for my Navcoder license to come through to actually program change anything. :headbang:

It does work though as does the Intravee so no issues having it in the middle.
