Installing aux

Ive solved my problem of not being able to remove the vents.. now my problem is i cant get the aux to work!

Bought the cable from fruity cables suitable for having nav. The ends of the 3 wires are crimped. Ive tried to slot them in ajd they go so far in but wont go any further (it looks like the adaptor changes shape half way down). Ive tried putting them directly on the pins underneith the black connector and they wont fit. When in yhe black connector they feel loose.

Has anyone else had this issue and how did you solve?

Theyre probably not pushed into the plug the whole way..Im sure I had the same issue as they seem to only go so far but actually go quite a bit deeper into the plug, trybto remove them and refit

Thank you for your reply :)
Remove which bits? Ive taken the crimped ends out and back into the black plastic several times with no luck.

Also, make sure it's not upside down. Mine only works one way up!
