Install ACS CF diffuser & silencers + RS29

I like the look of the defusser, but I have to agree with whats been said about the exhausts  I've never been a fan of letterbox style tailpipes let alone 2 of them, it does somehow make the back end look a bit beefy'er and they also look like they need final tweaking to sit c0ck on, but hey, as said it's your motor and so long as it put a smile on your face

be carefull with how much bodywork you add to it though, one of the best things I love about BMW's and VW alike is they don't require much if any additional 'bodykit' style additions from factory

ga41. not feeling the Forgestar F14's either I'm afraid, they look very TSW saturn I think.

What's the point of the diffuser? You realize it's nowhere near big enough, the ramp angles are all wrong and it's far too far away from the ground to have any noticeable effect?

Although your post has reminded me that "Auspuff" is a fantastic word for exhaust.

Its very unlikely the CF diffuser has any ground offect as such. I've seen some real diffusers on track and I very much boubt you could drive with it on the road. Spoke to a mate who's tracked his 599 GTO and according to the tech guys that diffuser only has effect because it finishes and entirely flat bottom. according to them its the only way to have ground effects and 99.9% of diffusers on road cars are purely for aestetics.

Remember I buggered the OEM diffuser and scraped the back boxes going off the track. ACS UK gave me a very good deal on the whole kit they had in stock. I was going to keep the OEM tips and backboxes but it just looked weird. The only visual modifications I want on the car are side skirts with integrated rear brake vents (ACS again) and a couple of AM style or old Daytona bonnet vents. Oh and the 5 spoke forged wheels (19) and with Notron or other suspension to finish the look.

You'll all have to wait a while though :(

What does sound good is your to-buy list though! What wheels are you looking to buy? I've been partial to the Forgestar F14's myself lately. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7047962&postcount=4 they're light, they look good and are relatively cheap for forged wheels.

Do like those wheels! they remind me of the M paralel style wheels you see on some E39 M5s and old 7 seried. Look brilliant. :driving:

couldn't they make the exhaust tips shorter? it looks weird sticking out.

maybe it's the pic.s ........ but it would look a hell of a lot better if it didn't stick out that much from the side pic.
