Inspection Through the Dealer?

Hey guys, I'm getting my 2.5 inspected tomorrow. In Virginia you have to get your car safety inspected every year. It only costs $16 no matter where you go. My question is, do you think there is any benefit or drawback in going to the BMW dealer service center over an indy or just the gas station service?

Thanks for your help. I'm going to get it done today and I'd love to get some input from you guys before I take it somewhere.

I got my audi inspected at the dealers when I sold the lease to another person, my indy did the same thing but was more money (for a more in depth inspection) so the buyer chose the dealer...

No comment on the yearly inspection as we don't do that here but I prefer the indy.... always better to have a third party in my opinion.
