inspection 2 ?

Hi guys,
Just had an inspection 2 equivalent service done at a local garage, and went back today to have the next inspection digital readout, reset.
The chap connected and put it on through his laptop, but then did it by the buttons on the dash, after the third attempt he managed to get to show 15,000 odd, it was at 7,755, so i'm not sure if it's right or not, plus with the laptop not working , if he cleared any of the other settings like for the brake/clutch fluid change , and any faults that needed clearing ,as i had new discs and pads fitted on the front,..
So how do i know or check any of the other settings..
I realise this is a bit long winded, but useless at this stuff. :headbang:

It sounds as though the garage re-set the service/inspection indicator from the hidden dash menu. It will now count down the miles until next service from the 15k you are showing. If you don't do that many miles it unfortunately it wont tell you when the max 2 year interval has passed, you have to remember that :)

If they changed the brake fluid they should have re-set the brake service indicator as well (that flashes up a square symbol when the 2 yearly fluid change is due). Again this can be re-set from the dash menu. If you don't have any warning lights showing I wouldn't worry about what else they might have re-set.

The process for re-setting the service and brake indicators is explained in the link, the ecu memory records the re-set history just in case anybody is pulling a fast one!
