Just checking on inspection 2 prices - two of my local main dealers are after £1000.... i hesitate to ring t'other one as they are twazzocks of the highest order.

is this the going rate these days?
 
It's about 'book' price for the job, but I don't know anyone who's had to pay more than £900, plus a fair few dealers will price match.

There's about a £300 difference around the north-west between the cheapest & dearest main dealer - and it's the most expensive one who are the twazzocks :headbang:
 
How odd. I have been consistently using the word Twazzock in everyday situations for years and it's never caused so much as a raised eyebrow.
 
Quality! I'm gonna resurrect twazzock into my daily vocabulary!

Should update another thread where I asked for dealer recommendations, but in the meantime ill add here that Elms Cambridge did my InspII for £799, and they seemed a good bunch, no nasty surprises or list of nonsense things that needed doing :thumbsup:
 
Elms cambridge is my local. Apparently they are an ///M specialist and the man there said they have people come from as far as Devon to go there. Not sure how true it is though? It's a very nice showroom/garage though :)
