Inspection 2 service parts

Hi all,

In conjunction with a few other small jobs I need to do on the Z4, I am due to change the filters, oil and spark plugs. I may possible have a go at the brake fluid too but not just yet.

Being new to Z4 ownership I have read a few different things with regards to service parts. With this in mind can someone have a look at the attached parts and costs and let me know whether these are the parts I should be buying or are there better alternatives?

Also is the pricing about right or is there somewhere else I should be looking?

The car is a 2006 3.0si Auto

Save an extra fiver by ordering 6 x 1L containers instead of the 4L + 2 x 1L :wink: (Edit, fiver saved at pre-discount code price but there's still a saving doing it like that :thumbsup: )
 
Also check you have the right oil,

I know some 5W-40 are LL04 spec but not all so worth checking its in spec when you pick it up, the oil ECP states isn't always correct. :)

Next you’ll be telling me that don’t need gearbox or diff oil changes either :P
 
Doesnt your car take 6.5 litres, in which case buy 2x4 litres and then you will have spare. Also I am sure on my last oil change I used Syntium 5000 AV which was recommended as fully synthetic. I would check that you aren't buying a lesser product.

hi nasher 32 just had mine serviced at local indys £220 inc vat list on invoice covered all the items you specified except i had cabin filter and engine flush so yea your good to go btw coupe or roadster :(

That’s advisable to be fair regardless of the engine even though it’s not in the service schedule. You’ll struggle to do the valve clearances though haha
