Inspection 2 Parts

Hi guys,

Happy new year!

I have done my research on the foum but wanted to ask some advice on parts sourcing from for the Inspection 2. Prices below are from Sopers with Forum discount

1. Spark plugs Bosch x 6 £86.36
2. Oil Filter £10.88
3. Air Filter £26.75
4. Microfilter Cabin £36.66

I know I can get the sparks cheaper form carpartsforless.com, however the Air/Microfilter seem very steep. Has anyone bought non OEM and give me any recommendations? I am going to get DOT4 fluid for the brake fluid change online, any brand recommendations?

I bought all my parts and oil from Euro cars parts which will save you a fair bit on the prices you have listed.

I did it myself too

Got all my parts from ECP / Halfords (trade)

Only OEM part I used was the oil filter from BMW. Comes with the O Ring and sump washer.

The cheapest Denso spark plugs on ECP are decent, just don't have the life of the Bosch ones, but for the price they are I prefer to replace regularly

Halfords had a mega offer on 5w30 fully synthetic oil recently, was £10 for 4 litres; I got it got it for £8 for 4 litres with the trade card. It meets the BMW spec too. Might be worth seeing if this offer is still on.
