Inspection 2 or Oil Service

Mine is 2003 Roadster. I know a service is due as the 'miles to service' has teached zero.

But does is the message on the dashboard meant to tell you wether it needs Inspection 2 or just am oil service ?...ordo you just work it out yourself from age/mileage ?

I'll scrub this question...turns out the Inspection 2 is only 200 quid so I'm having that done.

Non stealer but seems unfeasibly cheap...

I might be wrong...but it could be due to the age of the car...maybe they are mire lenient in older cars so people still bother to have the service (?) if it was too expensive some might not bother.

Did use use bmw or and indy?

That was sort of my original question...whether it should tell me or not. Pretty sure its just gone silent after counting down the 'miles to next service'

If you haggle you can get a lot cheaper than £305. My local main stealer wanted £370 for Inspec one on my old Z4 (6 cyl N52). I shoped around and they price matched then next closet dealer @ £199.

You need to do some homework.
