Inspection 2 Near Chester

Any advice on where i should take my MC for its inspection 2 (near chester or in the north west)?

Apologies if this info is already posted. My searching drew blanks.

Happy to go to a good independant

Specialist/Indy or main dealer?

For specialist go to Darren Wood in Stockport, or take it to Williams Rochdale and ask for a courtesy car (they will price match other dealers too).

To be honest i think i will get a better service from an Indy.

Convienience and price are unfortunately a factor however.

Have you got a rough guesstimate of what i should be looking at ?
 
You'd have to ask for the current prices, but I'd assume they'll be in the £500-£600 range for a full inspection 2 with clearances, diff/gearbox oil changes, etc.

ETA: website claims £495.79 for an e46 M3 which is the same engine.
 
I used David Paul in Warrington for my Z3M. They charged £400 for an insp2 last November and were recommended by a few people on the Z3 forum. Valve clearances were checked but didn't need doing, otherwise it would have been a bit more. They were very professional and are ex-BMW guys. Thoroughly recommended.

That's the other one that I couldn't remember the name of.
