Inspection 2 - does this look right?

I'm not very technical really so after a bit of advice. I've always read here about the Inspection 2 being a minefield and BMW dealers not bothering to do the valve clearance checks.

I decided to use an Indy who appears to specialise in //M cars and upon visiting him he seemed very knowledgable and professional and said he'd give me the before and after report I needed. So I've gone ahead and he's been fantastic in keeping me updated.

I was wondering though if someone handier with a spanner could tell me if this picture (he's been sending me lots) shows that he's at least taken enough apart to be suggesting the job is being done properly? I've no reason to doubt him at all and it's been a wonderful experience but I'm paranoid about my pride and joy and would appreciate some confirmation:

Just don't worry (too) much about the tools damaging your paintwork in there :evil:

as said - aside from the little valve clearance measuring tool thingers, the picture is as youd expect.

i'd ask them to double check the cam followers for any wear so you have an idea of the state of things internally.
