Inspection 2 Autotech Telford With pics!

Just collected my pride and joy from Autotech in telford, and very pleased with the whole experience. Its also the first service under my ownership so I was keen to have it thoroughly inspected and any issues resolved (not that I noticed any in use).

It may just have been the two days in the courtesy car, but mine felt like new upon collection. Pleasingly, nothing untoward was found, engine healthy, engine and trans mounts fine, bushes all good. With regard to valve clearances, only some minor shimming on intake 3 and exhaust 5, everything else in spec.

Upon collection, peter made a point of catching me to discuss the car, the inspection process, work carried out and have a general natter. The new premises is immaculate and some of the other high end cars in there give the comfort yours in in good hands. Due to other items carried out at the same time as inspection, I cant say the exact inspection 2 price, but it was in region of £550. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering work.

Its the open day this Saturday, so may be popping back if any forum members are around?

very nice,... BUT, aren't they supposed to plug the plug holes to avoid anything falling in there as that would be catastrophic or mean removing the head. :o
 
Had I got enough about me to do this myself, I probably would as a precaution. But in fairness these pics are datestamped seconds apart and I would not necessarily take them as indicative they were exposed throughout the inspection, just a snapshot during the work process.
