Inspection 1 - current prices @dealers?

On the M, doesn't an inspection 1 include shim checks? i'm sure when i looked in the service book it says so, inspection 2 is the same as the 1 but with gearbox and diff oil changes too. :?

I'm just going to look in the book.............after my dinner :P

As above + spark plugs in Inspection 2
 
Looks like putting a full request in has triggered something on their system as the price is coming back different now.

Oil Server £224
Inspec 1 £640
Inspec 2 £830

Steve, when i asked about an inspection 2 at Coopers they quoted a set price, i think it was £800 odd. They then said 'oh and depending on how many shims you need that will be extra' :o

Does anyone know how much they are and on average how many are changed?
 
Around a £1/£1.50 a piece from memory. And only a few should need replacing if any so another £10-20 quid.

I'm going to haggle with BMW, always do and they always move :wink:

Oh ok, i had no idea they were that cheap :o I thought they would be more like a tenner+

So not really worth worrying about in the scheme of things :thumbsup:
