I need to do some diagnostics on my Z4 (ABS/Speed Sensor) but don't know whether to buy an INPA lead/software or a C110 Diagnostics/Reader. Opinions please to help me resolve. Links also if possible. Thanks.

Thank you Mac and Sam? Derby would be easier as I'm just down Brian Clough way. I'm quite happy to invest in some kit but it would be great to have someone point me in the right direction and even better if I could establish what's wrong with my car at the moment!!!! Where and when in Derby? Please let me know. Thanks. I've sent an email to SammySquid.

well i live in notts and then i commute to central derby daily and normally finish between 5-8pm so would be more than happy to stop and run the machine...

I'm clear every evening except Tuesday or I could come to you in Derby lunchtime or to you in Notts anytime. It's to suit you.

Any update from sammysquid ?

sammysquid popped round tonight on his way home and checked the diagnostics. It is the n/s/r ABS/Pulse Sensor so I'm going try and get it off over the weekend, clean and refit and........ then probably buy a new one on Monday!!!!!! Many thanks to sammysquid for the support and his time. Will finish the thread once the job is done.

NSR ABS sensor replaced today using Andrew Litt's YouTube guide. Soaked sensor and retaining bolt overnight and it all came out quite easily this morning. Used an aftermarket replacement sensor from bavariandominator.co.uk. Looked the same as the BMW part, fitted perfectly and works a treat. All warning lights now out. :D By the way, bought both INPA and C110 diagnostics in the end. The INPA is a more complete tool but the C110 is very easy to use.
