Could some one advise me,

Im after checking the electric window, one side auto closes but other doesnt.

Where on either software can you view or turn on options? Also do you select E85, As i have a E86?

Lastly how do you enable boot unlock on the key remote? again where abouts do you go in software
 
In INPA you can select E85, covers both.

SSS sounds like what you need for those options, it's all radio buttons and should be pretty easy to figure out. You can't break anything in SSS so don't be afraid to experiment.
 
Whats SSS, sorry to sound dumb. we got it on e85, then think it was body and GM module? or is there something else i should be clicking or pressing
 
SSS is a separate program. INPA can only run diagnostics and show values. Turning things on and off (your dealer can enable... in the manual) needs something different.
 
ncsdummy and ncsexpert will do the trick too.. you already have ncsexpert if you have INPA.. and ncsdummy is a free app - just google it :)
 
The option to one-touch close the passenger window and change the boot locking procedure is on NCS Expert within the GM (General Module).

Download a program called NCS Dummy, which makes everything easier. Make sure on NCS Expert you select Codierdaten Lesen before you press any of the buttons to read the car. There are some good user guides online.

cheers stratts, ive got it on passenger side but not on drivers :/

with ncs dummy, do i need to get the trace file on ncsexpert first?

and where do u initialize the windows or view for regulator triggering etc?
 
If you mean windows one-touch open & close, most cars have this enabled by default. It needs initialization to work though, which can be done without NCS Expert. From memory:

1. engine off, doors closed put ignition on 1
2. press and hold window open switch until window completely opens plus a couple of seconds until a faint click is heard
3. pull and hold switch until window completely closed plus a few seconds and a click
 
dmike, yer tried that, after batter change can always get passenger working but not drivers, but it goes up on the auto close but stops when you let go.

the up only stops the auto down
