inpa - any tutorials?

As the title really: anyone know of online tutorial or point me in right direction so I can decipher what inpa is telling me the n46 engine is doing? Its all well and good seeing the bar charts, but no good if I dont understand it...... Thanks.
 
No idea if there are tutorials but if I'm right you're looking at the engine parameters, rpm etc. Along the bottom of the screen are function keys with the different models INPA supports. Select the car you want (F8 sticks in my memory for the E85) and follow the menus. You can try something harmless first like the CD changer.
 
Thanks Stuart, yeah you're right I'm looking at engine read outs. I can get the programme to show me stuff such as 'roughness' etc I just dont know exactly what the screen is telling me. The n46 as you know is four cylinder and roughness screen shows a fluctuating figure on each cylinder of approx 0.7 with cylinder one showing a bit higher of 1.2 or so. Just hoping someone knows how I can translate the figures in each screen to knowledge of what the numbers mean. Hope that makes sense!
