Inner Brake Lights Issue 2015 E89

Car is throwing a bulb warning error and I tracked it down to the left inner brake light intermittently going out. Investigated and the bulb is working but loose in the bulb holder presumably causing a loss of connection, hence the warning. Turns out the right inter is the same.
Anyone had this issue and found a solution, before I hand it over to an auto-electrician?

My 20i recently had the same problem; the left inner brake light was blackened and burnt, and when I forcibly removed it from the bulb socket, the bulb housing itself was also burnt.

I bought several of the same sockets from AliExpress and plan to replace it soon.
