funny the wife spotted that the shop had cctv cameras on the outside so asked the owner if they had any footage, he rang the company he pays for his security to find out they are all fake and he actually had no security at all he was furious

no still have all my bits so not the wife :D
got several quotes today range from 300-600 for respray of complete rear quarter and blending into door ( what ever that means )
 
Sounds fair enough price wise, depends on how good they are, dont always go for the cheapest or see their previous work.

The Lacquer used is also an important and expensive part of the job. Bear this in mind as I baught a car with a cheep repair job, it cracked and peeled after not long.

They will respray part of the door too, this will help blend the colour as 100% coulour match is almost impossible. I believe this is what they meant by blending the door in.

These people just baffle me with their bitterness, they must have very sad lives.

It often seems to be older people who go round keying cars, these 'vigilante' type village weirdos who somehow feel the car owner deserves it (for having a nice car)
 
:cry: we had our 330 done on Surrey road. Twice. It was an arsehole who had buy to lets in our block, on the ground floor. We lived on the top floor and got our own back by making him pay his share towards the lift that was reinstated. Absolutely no benefit to him and cost him 8 grand.
Karma will get them back, but feel for you as you feel s**t and there's nothing you can do bar putting movement cams in the car.
