Hi all.
Please can I ask a favour?

Can anyone on here, who run the 18" Riva DTM CSL replics get me a measurement on the front, please? Disc braking surfce to inner spoke.

I've been thinking about a wheel swap for a while but I'm possibly limited on choice because I run silly huge calipers at the front.
I currently run BMW 261 wheels from the E8x 135i, they fit perfectly with a 12mm spacer and equal et37.

I'd like to test fit a set of CSL replicas to see if they cover the calipers. I've put out numerous messages on the usual social pages to see if anyone local who can offer me to come and do a test fit. No luck so far.
Another option is to get a measurement from disc braking surface to the inside of the wheel spoke.

My disc (Z4M/m3 CSL) rotors are 3mm closer to the wheel than stock, I should be able to get a good indication of clearance once I compare a stock measurement to my setup.
My current clearance from braking surface to inner spoke on my Z4M/CSL rotors with 261 wheels is 57mm (spoke close to centre) and 63mm (middle of spoke)

If my math and logic are correct, anything more then 54mm at the smallest gap on a standard setup, I'm good to go, right? :tumbleweed:
If less then I'll need to consider spacers but then I run into issues elsewhere with possible rubbing. :headbang:

Can anyone here, who run the 18" Riva DTM CSL replics get me a measurement on the front, please? Disc braking surfce to inner spoke.

If thats the BMW performance brake option on 338 mm disks then it should clear most 18" wheels..I had no issues on E89..seen them fitted to a few E85s..BMW says it fits most 17" wheelsof theirs..

Hi [ref]Meds[/ref],
Sorry I can’t help with your query but first dibs on your 261s if you do change them. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š

What are the ET.s on the Riva rep front?
Surely you can just work it out from that?

The Riva are ET34.
I dont think the ET measurement accouns for any spoke width though? Wheel spokes can be thick or thin but the ET will be the same?
Unless I'm mistaken.
Pretty sure that's correct as some E8x 1 series wheels clear the common upgrade F series 4 pot calipers but some dont, despite being the same , it's the spokes that foul the caliper.

I had the Zito 935 which is another CSL look alike no issues..I think most of these wheels will be OK with the caliper..its not that broad..Fits a 29 ET wheel with no issues..it usually the barrel that causes issues.
