2dogs, why don't you go get it?
Just the mileage putting me off....but it is tempting!
Why?

Low mileage is no indication of condition or potential problems - and I suppose anything that's going to break has already broken or will go on forever. Buy a 5,000 mile model and you'll be going through the 'niggle list' for the first year.

£18k for a below-average (average is 12k-15k a year, depending which trade magazine you read) mileage Z4MC is a bargain - you'd be lucky to find a 3.0 coupe with the same spec & mileage for that.

that is a bargain ! if i was ready to swap mine i would have it !

2 dogs - Consider the mileage that you might put on it, rather than seeing it as a car with already high miles (which it isnt), if your not doing many miles than its not really an issue after 3 years is it? Although if you are planning on adding plenty of miles per year than it might not be the car for you.

i bought my car with 45K on the clock 2.5 years ago due to the fact that it had a good spec but knowing i only do 7K per year so wasnt an issue.

All good points, But to me this one looks better value, all the toys 1/2 the mileage for maybe £1000-1200 more

Only difference is the satnav and 56 over 06 plate which isn't worth an extra 1900 IMO. Also Baj has bluetooth, which this one doesn't.

I know everyone says "if", but if I was in the market for an M I would take this off your hands and just retrofit the satnav.

Hey .. mine's a 56 plate too! :P

And mine has warranty unlike that one, I believe the value of a BMW Warranty on a private sale is huge.

Will 2dogs ever buy an M?
Yes one day :P waiting for mmm-five to drop his price to 20k ish
have been looking at VR8 cant make my mind up :?
It is already 20k-ish - it's just that the '-ish' is £1.5k (at the moment). But as I've said to everybody else, unless you come to see it, you can't really expect me to take any 'offer' seriously. You never know, I might happily take an offer well below the asking price if I've seen someone has made the effort to come & see it.

Bad news (for you) is it'll have another 1000 miles on it by the end of the month.

Good news (for you) is that it'll be due an oil service at about the same time, so that will be one outlay it won't need for a while.

Bad news (for you) is it'll be a month closer to needing tax, MOT & extended warranty.

Good news (for you) is I may reduce the price to £20,995 to reflect the extra mileage.

Bad news (for you) is that if I carry on getting work as I have for the last couple of weeks, then it'll be staying with me.
