Inerlagos Blue Z4M Coupe - SOLD

BaJ, personally I would ignore the other comments. When I was after a Z4, I went looking specifically for a car WITHOUT Sat Nav as it looks like an afterthough, and ruins the lines of the dash. There will be a buyer out there who thinks the same as me, as there are a few people who think the same on here.

As someone sensible has said though, it does NOT add value to your car, but if every current buyer is after Sat Nav, you're out of luck unfortunately.

Amazing you haven't had any interest in the car :( Sat Nav must be the spoiler and maybe no heated seats?? The car looks an absolute bargain at that price.

That's just not factual, having satnav on an M does increase the value.

The simple fact is that most buyers associate BMW with a certain level of equipment and a Z4M without sat nav is going to give you a headache to shift.

I've got nav and agree that it looks like an afterthought, it is hardly cutting edge but buyers expect it as much as they'd expect leather seats (which I'm also not a fan of).

I wouldn't however spend £700 to try to get £21-£22K. Unlist it for a couple of weeks then relist it, seeing how you go. It looks a great car for the money - you just need to find the right buyer to come along.

The 3.0Si is very cheap to run. I ran mine for less than my company Mondeo. The M is a bit more expensive so it has the image of being expensive to run. Compare a Z4M to other similar performance cars and it isn't expensive at all.

A quick bump seeing as I have just re-listed the advert on PH after it expired.

I've just been looking at cars on the BMW AUC site (without Nav) and can't believe how favourably mine compares. For example:

http://bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_details/0,,1260_159980106__,00.html?currentCh=WBSDU92000LF78231
Similar spec, but higher mileage ... advertised for £4k more!

http://bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_details/0,,1260_159980106__,00.html?currentCh=WBSDU92040LF78197
Similar spec again, same colours but less mileage ... advertised for £5k more!!

Now I know dealers have a business to run and what not but the savings are huge :)

Not much interest in my 08 plate if it is any consolation. I have reduced it a couple of times already.

I'm gutted you didn't have your car for sale last september! Bought my 3.0si C from stealers last year for £19k. Ok its 07' plate with 12k miles on the clock but still, would have gladly bought yours......

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get some enthusiast soon

I've just sold my mate's 335i convert for him. It was on Pistonheads for weeks and not one phone call. Then I put it in Autotrader and nothing for two weeks. Then in the middle of the third week I get two calls within a few hours. One is quite local, lady wants the car as it's the right colour/spec and deal done in an hour.

I mention this to show that if the right person is looking and your cars are good value (which they are) then you will get a sale. Just be patient.

Looks great, and I'd prefer a car without nav too. I'd be very tempted, but need to sell my current car first.

Thanks, just noticed you've got an Exige, a friend of mine has one too ... in fact here's a quick snap of them both ...

Bump-a-roo!

Bit of a final attempt really, if it's not gone by the end of the month then I will keep it a bit longer ... can't believe I've not had so much as a sniff :?

Love the pic of the 3 cars.

Maybe you'll have more joy in the dodgy weather. Not much interest in my Exige yet either, other than the odd email question.

BaJ - She's absolutely gorgeous and a colour combo that's exactly what I'm after at the moment.

Except that I'm chasing roadsters, sorry... :(

Really hope you sell her for the right price.

Don't know where you are based bu there's an Interlagos Roadster with Black Leather at Vines of Guildford at the moment. Was until very recently owned by somebody on here, traded in against a 320D IIRC. No idea on spec, other than no Nav but a quick look over it yesterday while waiting to leave for the Vines roadtrip showed it to be very tidy.

Ahh, that's a shame ... what do you want with an inferior looking Roadster anyhow? :P

Hi there.

Where are you based? I might be interested if it's not a million miles away from Cheltenham!

[Edit - think I've just found your pistonheads ad...]

Thanks

Ben

I'm in the Midlands so not a million miles from anywhere really :)

I'm on the Leics/Warks border, 2 mins from the M69 and 10 mins from both the M1 and M6.

Cheers
