BMW Z4M Coupe

For regrettable sale is my stunning 2006, BMW Z4M Coupe.

3.2 M-Power Straight Six, 338 BHP @ 7900 RPM, 39,200 miles.

The car was first registered on 14/11/2006 and is based on the 2007 model year build, it has 2 former keepers.

The car includes a full BMW service history, including the very important M running in service. Full service history below:

13/11/06 - Pre-delivery check - David Holmes BMW Stockport
12/12/06 - Running-in check, 1,447 miles - David Holmes BMW Stockport
01/10/07 - Oil service, 12,241 miles - David Holmes BMW Stockport
03/09/08 - Inspection I, 25,232 miles - David Holmes BMW Stockport
04/06/10 - Oil service, 37,382 miles - Rybrook BMW Warwick

As you can see the car has recently been serviced. The next service is not due for another 13,500 miles as per the on-board service indicator.

MOT expires - 10/09/11 - The car has just been MOT'd for a further 12 months, it passed with flying colours and NO advisories.
Road Tax expires - 30/11/10

The car is finished in Interlagos Blue, with Black Nappa Leather Interior and Carbon Black dash surround.

The following additional factory options are fitted to this car:

- Logic 7 BMW Business upgraded hi-fi. A desirable option which includes 10 powerful speakers and amplifier, sounds superb.
- 6 disc CD changer. Located in central compartment between seats.
- Bluetooth telephone integration. Make and receive calls via the steering controls and speaker system.
- Isofix support. Connect your baby seat via the universal Isofix connectors in the passenger seat.

Apart from the additional options the car also has the standard Z4M specification, including: Automatic xenon headlights, automatic rain sensing wipers, electric heated mirrors, tinted windscreen, hill-start assistance, multi-function steering wheel, electric leather seats with memory function, remote control locking with alarm, on-board trip computer, tyre pressure monitor, auto dimming rear view mirror, Dynamic Stability Control and much more.

The car is in immaculate condition with NO dents, scrapes or scratches on the bodywork. The alloy wheels are also in superb condition with NO evidence of kerbing to any wheels.

The car is wearing Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres all round. There is plenty of tread on all 4 tyres as they were only replaced just before I purchased the car. At the recent service they were measured at 6mm for both fronts and 5mm for both rears. The brake pad thickness was also measured at 9mm and the discs are in healthy condition. The car wants for nothing.

This is a very regrettable sale and I am not interested in any canvassers, tyre kickers, time wasters or test pilots. Test drives are welcome providing you can show evidence of Fully Comprehensive insurance to drive this vehicle.

£17,000!!

Looks beautiful, and a great colour...but I would think that :D I'm surprised you aren't fighting people away at that price.

What is the button to the left of the gear stick, in the position of the sport button, but on the passenger side?

That's the passenger airbag disabled warning light ... do others not have them? Wonder if it's because mine has the Isofix as an option!?

Thanks! That must be why, but I'm surprised because I thought I had isofix. I don't have that indicator, so obviously I don't have that option.
Oh well - I don't have any kids either, so I doubt I'll miss it!
Have you posted on Pistonheads? You can advertise in their classifieds for free. Good luck anyway.

To be honest this is a forum where many talk about buying a Z4M but few actually do. Get it advertised elsewhere and hold out on your price which is very reasonable with the service history and AUC warranty. If I was looking for one I'd be on Autotrader and Pistonheads.

Final bump before I probably think about keeping it, it's been on PistonHeads for as long as it's been on here too.

It's priced on PH now for £19,600 but I will probably take close to £19k ... anyone?

Just been serviced, remaining BMW warranty, what more do you want? And don't say SatNav

I've had too many time wasters when dealing on eBay in the past, so will give that avenue a miss.

I've got the car up for £19,000 now, which looking around at other seems a great price. I can't take offers at that price though, it's already cheap enough!

you know if you retrofitted sat nav (circa £700) you'd probably get around 22k.

Satnav is not worth £3k extra, £1k nearer the mark

If satnav gains a buyer who would otherwise buy elsewhere, it's worth £19K!

Unfortunately, satnav sells a car. Ignore the value aspect even, it is the difference between a sale and not sometimes.

Although it's not worth £3k extra, as people above have said it can mean the difference between a buyer and no buyer, not how much that buyer will pay. At £19k it's the cheapest example on Pistonheads bar a 66k car and another with nearly 50k, so it truly makes up for the lack of Nav IMO. Most 06 cars with Nav are listed at £21k-22k, so it's definitely having an impact of more than £1k on asking prices...but most of those are with Indy dealers, too.

Hopefully it gets snapped up soon

Seems like an odd time in the market at the moment - a lot of good cars being reduced. But yes, in theory this is worth £19k.

BaJ, can't believe I am going to suggest this as it annoys me, but have you considered putting an ad on PH in the wrong section, ie the non-M Z4 Coupe section? Had a quick look and there are Si Sports on there for more money than your M. There may be people looking that have ruled out an M thinking it too expensive.

Whatever the merits of Satnav, these Z4Ms are terrific value, there is nothing out there in the price band to match it.

Crikey ... lots of debate going on here :D

Sat nav has never been important to me, I've never had a car with it and never owned a portable device either, so it was never an issue when I bought the car. I understood at the time though the impact it may have come resale. Call me old fashioned but I love maps anyhow :)

Is it really only £700 to retro fit?

Oh and if you want a laugh a dealer offered me £15k!
