Anybody every used one of these? I'm not interested personally, but thought it was a pretty good price.

My mate had one which he drove his 1955 Rolls Royce into - it was a reasonable price and had access doors in the side and rear using zips and velcro to seal with two fans keeping positive pressure to avoid damp and dust. It worked really well and for a cherished motor was an excellent and effective purchase.

When the Roller went he kept his Classic Motorcycles in it. He was lucky in having the space in his pole barn as I think his was the largest version they sold.

I have another mate who uses a smaller version to keep his 1956 Triumph café racer and Ducati 916 in after he saw how effective the Roller item had been.

Make certain it has a frame to keep the shape (a little like a square tent) so that it's easier to drive your vehicles in and out - I think I've seen some that don't. . . .

Used one for years for my MGRV8, fantastic. If I was in the market now however, I would look at the competitors products as the unzipping to get the car in and out was a complete pain. One or two on the market now offer a zippable 'front door' which is much more convenient.

IIRC, Stuart Truman's MR was kept in one of these (or something similar) by its first owner

That's correct, although he forgot to service it correctly, but that's another story

That is a good price and will keep dust out but the LP air pump is just pushing ambient moist air in to a sealed tent, I would be cautious about using one unless it had a dehumidifier fitted or a stand-alone running on auto inside.

Think it works the other way - air is drawn out to keep the dust out and to dry off the contents. . . . .

It did work on my mates RR and my other mate also keeps his motorcycle magazines in his to keep them from getting damp.

Same thing, if air is drawn out it must be replaced by ambient air from outside or the thing would become a vacuum and collapse

This tent & pump just provide positive pressure to keep out dust etc and will importantly may reduce settled condensation but it's not dehumidified like the better units so the humidity is the same inside and out i.e. potentially moist air inside a plastic bag.

My M coupe lives in an air chamber, same system as the carcoon but with full frame so it stays up even with the front or two side doors open. had a carcoon bike bubble which was good and kept it dry but a pain to get on and off as it collapses on the vehicle.
my garage is a box metal sheet roofed timber agricultural buildind, not very weather proof.the Airchamber has been a great investment . The idea is that the fans keep air moving over the vehicle so the moist air doesnt condensate and settle on the vehicle. I used to have my mate's 911 in the other half of the shed which was always soaking wet whilst mine was bone dry. It doesnt prevent ALL dust entering however and settling on the vehicle. on a couple of occasions where there has been very moist air and extreme temperature changes ,it has not managed to prevent some condensation on the body, this is extremely rare though and may be because i suffer from surface water from the field running through my shed so the whole floor can be an inch deep in water if we have torrential rain. think I paid almost 500 for mine 6 years ago, air chamber's after service btw is first class and they have sent me several spare parts , fans and printed circuits when one has gone down, foc even after the warranty expired, and at very reasonable prices after that.

a decent hepa filter on the inlet would sort out any dust, make it small enough and it will remove most organisms too.
